You've been building. Praying over it. Fasting over it. Getting back up every time it falls and building again. And it keeps falling. Not because your faith is weak. Not because God isn't listening. But because somewhere along the way, you picked up a blueprint that wasn't given to you on the mountain.
Most of us inherited our patterns. From our families. From the culture. From our wounds, our ego, our fear. We built something real from those patterns — something that looks like it's holding — and then we brought it to God and asked Him to bless it. And God, in His mercy, said no.
In Hebrews 8:5, God is speaking to Moses about the tabernacle and He says this — see that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount. He didn't just tell Moses to build. He told him how. According to a specific pattern. Shown in a specific place. The mountain — which is the place of presence, the place of encounter. Heaven is pattern-conscious. And so is everything that lasts.
Here's what that means for you today. Sand isn't just bad behavior. Sand is any foundation not sourced from Christ — trauma, hustle, performance, ego, even your gifting if that's what you're building from instead of from Him. You can build something impressive on sand. But when the storm hits, the foundation reveals itself. The collapse isn't God judging you. It's God refusing to let you keep living inside something He never designed.
You don't need to rebuild faster. You need to go back to the mountain. Get in His presence. Receive the pattern. Then build from that — not for Him, from Him. Everything built from that place will hold.
The same voice that spoke the pattern to Moses is speaking to you now. You are not disqualified. You are not behind. You are being rebuilt according to the right design.
Go back to the mountain. The pattern is waiting there.
