You've been in rooms where it was moving through everyone around you
and going quiet in you. You did what made sense — you prayed more,
fasted, dug into scripture, repented of everything you could find.
And the ceiling didn't move.
That's not a faith problem. That's a filter problem.
Paul writes in Titus 1:15 that unto the pure, all things are pure —
but unto the defiled, even their mind and conscience is defiled.
He's not making a moral statement. He's making a perceptual one.
What you perceive depends on what you're perceiving through.
A defiled filter doesn't just corrupt what you do. It corrupts
what you see, what you hear, what you receive. The Adamic lens
bends reality before it reaches your consciousness — and you've
been pressing against a ceiling that was never meant to be pushed
through. It was meant to be removed.
Jesus never strained for the gifts. He received continuously — because
nothing in him was obstructing the signal. That's the model. Not
more effort. More transparency. The gifts of the Spirit are not
above your ceiling. They are below your noise. The question was never
how to get more. The question is what is blocking the riverbed.
First Corinthians 2:16 says we have the mind of Christ. Not will have.
Not might access on our best days. Have. Present tense. Already.
The channel is there. The capacity is resident. What the Holy Spirit
is after is not more of your striving — it's less of your opacity.
Stop generating. Start receiving. Become the vessel the gifts already
have somewhere to move through.
The ceiling is not above you. It is inside you. And the Spirit that
removes it is already in the same house.
