You watched the video. Or maybe you didn't — maybe you're reading this first and the teaching comes after.
Either way, you probably already know.
There's a version of yourself that has been operating in something you called prophecy. And somewhere underneath the confidence, underneath the responses, underneath the rooms that moved — there's been a question you never answered.
Most people, when that question finally lands, do one of two things.
They shut down. Decide the gift was never real, stop moving in it entirely, go quiet for years because the shame is too loud to work through.
Or they go harder. Find the next training. Book the next impartation. Try to outrun the conviction by producing more of the thing that caused it.
Neither of those is the altar.
The altar isn't a place you go to fix something. It isn't a spiritual upgrade or a better technique. Isaiah didn't go to the altar to become a more accurate prophet. He went because he had nothing left. Woe is me — not help me improve — woe is me. The undoing came first. The coal came after. The coal didn't make him more gifted. It made him clean.
Clean is different from accurate.
Accurate is a skill. Clean is a source.
You've been trying to get more accurate. God is asking you to get clean.
The silence after you find out isn't the absence of the gift. It's the beginning of the only process that makes the gift real. Most people fill that silence immediately — with activity, with ministry, with the next word for the next person.
Let it be silent.
You can't carry what He hasn't given you. But you also can't receive what you haven't made room for.
The altar is the room.
