You've been showing up. Praying, fasting, doing everything you're supposed to do in a season where your strength is gone and your tank is on empty. And somewhere underneath all that effort is a quiet thought you haven't said out loud — that your weakness is the thing disqualifying you. That God is waiting for you to arrive at some stronger version of yourself before He can really move.
That thought is not discernment. It's a lie with theological clothing.
Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:9 that God's strength is made perfect in weakness. That word perfect — teleioō in the Greek — means brought to its appointed end. Its expected completion. God's strength doesn't show up in spite of your weakness. It reaches its fullness through it. Which means the condition you've been trying to fix is the very location He's been looking for to land.
This is the divine exchange Paul is describing. You bring your death, He brings His life. You bring your lack, He brings His abundance. You bring your brokenness — and He shows up with a solution. But the exchange only opens when you stop white-knuckling it and actually come before Him honest. Lord, I'm weak. I need you. I can't carry this. That's not defeat. That is the posture that opens the door.
Isaiah 57:15 says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity — He dwells with the one of a contrite and humble heart. The highest Being in existence chooses the lowest posture as His address. You've been running from the room He was standing in.
Stop fixing the wrong thing. Bring Him the weakness. That's all He asked for.
